Wall-to-wall carpet is trending again! We are loving the benefits of this flooring and have helpful recommended guidelines for you. It is strongly advised having a professional installer because each fiber or weave is very unique that will be used in your project and being installed correctly makes all of the difference in longevity of your wall-to-wall carpet.
There are many reasons to love wall-to-wall carpet, but number one is price and affordability. It’s much more cost effective than installing wood floors with the purchase of large area rugs. Enjoy a sense of luxury like a grand hotel. Wall-to-wall carpeting provides insulation and warmth, sound absorption and noise reduction plus it’s durable and easy to maintain.
SisalCarpet.com offers a wide range of broadloom in standard widths to extra-wide widths which reduces seams with installation. Patterns and colors ranging from contemporary to traditional, “weave” got you covered. Our talented and experienced sales representatives provide outstanding service in helping you achieve the best flooring for your projects. Feel free to contact us anytime for assistance.

What sort of padding is recommended for installing under wall-to-wall sisal?
I love the look of a sisal – natural fibre rugs. We would like to put one in the bedroom to give it that beach feel but we want something really soft under our toes. What can you recommend.
Hello Patricia,
We carry a wide array of sisal rugs (https://www.sisalcarpet.com/catalog/sisal-rugs) in many patterns and color hues, which all can be custom cut to the size you desire. Yes, some sisal can feel rough underfoot, so usually we suggest to take a look at our sisal-wool blends (https://www.sisalcarpet.com/catalog/sisal-rugs) to get that soft feel underfoot without compromising on the sisal look.
I forwarded your question to our knowledgeable sales team, and they will contact you within 1-2 business days.
Let us know here what you ended up putting in your bedroom.
Best,
Martina

My installer says it is not possible to seam Seagrass. I want to have it installed in 2 small hallways. He says where the hallways meet he can’t seam it because you can stitch natural woven carpet. Is this true?
Hi Anne,
Yes, Seagrass can absolutely be seamed. A characteristic of natural flat woven material is a visible seam. If that is acceptable to you as part of the character of the weave, it offers a beautiful finished product for those who love Seagrass!
Let me know if you have any other questions?
Thanks,
