Today, I found out the REAL advantage of our Synthetic Sisal over natural sisal. While vacationing in France at my in-laws’ home, my youngest son was serving coffee to everyone after a long French lunch. He got distracted and spilled the coffee all over the new Venice Synthetic Sisal rug that my mother-in-law had just purchased from us. Needless to say, my mother-in-law panicked. I told her to calm down, that the rug was easy to clean and the stain would go away. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous too. What if for some reason the coffee stain wouldn’t disappear, and I would make a fool of myself? After a bit of cleaning, the rug was as good as new! Everyone was impressed, and our guests left with our web address, so they could get samples of the Venice! For those of you that don’t know too much about natural sisal—if the rug had been sisal, the stain would have been permanent, and I would have been in the “dog house.”
